I have a copy of the 8th edition, published in 1978, so I figure a review is better than nothing. Many of the basics of machinery has remained the same since this book was published in 1967, some sections are outdated. Below are the various chapters. As you can see, many of the chapters will remain the similar today. There hasn't been much advancement in steam boilers (under power generation), but instrumentation, controls, electronics are vastly different today.
